The old axiom, "better late than never," more than likely didn't come from a person who agreed to fight someone as talented as undefeated Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) super prospect, Mirsad Bektic, on just four days notice. Bantamweight veteran Russell Doane, though, apparently has no issues doing just that, accepting a short notice Featherweight fight literally half a world away in Manchester, England, this Saturday night (Oct. 8, 2016).
UFC made the bout official earlier today after Bektic's original opponent, Arnold Allen, fell off the pay-per-view (PPV) card with an injury and then his replacement, Jeremy Kennedy, was eventually scratched, too.
