Conor McGregor could be out until early 2017 following his majority decision victory over Nate Diaz in the UFC 202 headliner.
The UFC featherweight champion must have his left foot and ankle cleared by an orthopedic doctor or he cannot compete until Feb. 17. At a minium, the “Notorious” one is out until Oct. 20 with no contact until Oct. 5. The Nevada Athletic Commission released medical suspensions from the event on Monday.
McGregor utilized a leg-kick heavy attack to avenge a UFC 196 loss to Diaz on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
