That didn’t take long.
A day after Dong Hyun Kim was forced out of his Welterweight scrap against Neil Magny — which was set for UFC 202 on Aug., 20, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada -- Lorenz Larkin has agreed to step in as a replacement according to MMA Fighting.
Lorenz is coming off a razor-thin split decision victory over Jorge Masvidal at UFC Fight Night 88 last May (recap here), his first win after suffering his own close loss to Albert Tumenov earlier in the year.
As for Magny, after having his seven-fight win streak snapped by Demian Maia, it didn’t take long for him to start another one, racking up three consecutive victories over top-level foes such as Hector Lombard, Kelvin Gastelum and Erick Silva.
