After defeating a bloated Kelvin Gastelum via split decision at UFc 183 back in Jan. 2015, Tyron Woodley made the risky decision to wait for a Welterweight title shot against 170-pound division champion Robbie Lawler. And like mother always said, "Good things come to those who wait."
Indeed, Woodley returned to the Octagon tonight (Sat., July 30, 2016) to battle Lawler in the main event of UFC 201, which took place inside Philips Arena in Atlanta, Ga., after more than 1.5 years on the sidelines. And he never looked better, scoring an improbable first round knockout over a man who seemed un-finishable thanks to a monster overhand right that landed clean after a slight feint.
