In the first bout at UFC 200, Jim Miller kept the drive alive with a big win over Takanori Gomi. The BJJ black belt took advantage of a mistake by the Japanese fighter, took him to the ground, and methodically advanced position until he was able to tee off on a flattened-out opponent.
Gomi was trapped, and the referee was forced to step in and call the fight off.
The finish came at the 2:18 mark of the first round.
Gomi and Miller both entered the fight tonight desperately looking for a win.
