“The Count” defied the odds to capture 185-pound gold, knocking out the heavily-favored Luke Rockhold in the UFC 199 headliner at the Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Bisping, who took the bout on approximately two week’s notice, ended Rockhold’s five-fight winning streak to cap off an evening filled with spectacular violence.
In the co-main event, Dominick Cruz closed the book on his rivalry with Urijah Faber, as he rolled to a clear-cut unanimous verdict in their trilogy bout.
