On Jan. 31, 2016, Jon Jones was cited by a Bernalillo County Sheriff's Deputy after he was caught driving without a license, registration, or insurance in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Thankfully, the transgressions were in no part a violation of his probation for a prior hit-and-run accident, also in "The Duke City."
Now, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion can breath a bit easier, as "Bones" received a 90-deferral after he entered a no-contest plea during a recent brief appearance at the Metropolitan Court in Albuquerque.
That's according to the Albuquerque Journal, who confirms that "Bones" showed up with all the documents needed to prove that his vehicle was insured, registered and that he had an eligible license to drive.
