Throughout the incessant trash talking that eventually led to him being knocked out within 13 seconds at UFC 194, it is understandable for the former long-time featherweight champion to make things personal.
Aldo was given the opportunity to avenge his loss last December when Rafael Dos Anjos pulled out if UFC 196 due to a broken foot. However, he did turn down the offer, stating he had to be given enough time to prepare, and that 11 days’ notice would just not suffice.
