Miocic rocked Arlovski early with a right hand to the dome and finished him off shortly after with several followup bombs.
The finish came just 54 seconds into their tango.
Immediately after his impressive finish of the former UFC heavyweight champ, Miocic made a beeline for UFC president Dana White, who was sitting just inches from the live action, and yell at him for a title shot. White obliged at the post-fight press conference, saying he’s too scared of Miocic to not grant him next crack at the crown.
Miocic also pocketed an extra $50,000 for “Performance of the Night” honors.
