Robbie Lawler held on to his Ultimate Fighting Championship title last weekend in Las Vegas, but win or lose, the welterweight champion was always going to be UFC 195’s high earner.
Lawler took home a flat $500,000 in “show” money with no additional bonus for winning, according to figures released Monday by the Nevada Athletic Commission. Carlos Condit, who gave the champ all he could handle for five full rounds, pocketed a check for $315,000.
Co-main event heavyweight Andrei Arlovski earned the event’s next highest purse with a flat $250,000 in defeat.
