LAS VEGAS -- Dustin Poirier's matchup with Joe Duffy turned out to be worth the wait for Poirier.
The lightweight matchup was originally scheduled to be the main event of UFC Fight Night 76 on Oct. 24 in Dublin. But the bout was scrapped the week of the fight when it was revealed Duffy suffered a concussion in the late stages of training.
Saturday, Poirier-Duffy finally went off. And after a wild first round thrilled the early arrivals at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the Fight Pass prelim, Poirier pulled away over the second and third round to earn the victory at UFC 195.
