UFC 193 sets its all-time attendance record in Melbourne with huge crowd of 56,214

Melbourne, Australia, has unseated Toronto, Canada, in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) record books.

The promotion announced a record-setting attendance number of 56,214 for UFC 193 last night (Sat., Nov. 15, 2015), a monster pay-per-view (PPV) card that saw Holly Holm score shocking upset over Ronda Rousey in the main event of the evening. "Preacher's Daughter" knocked out Rousey to win the UFC women's Bantamweight title inside the vast Etihad Stadium.

This show topped the previous mark of 55,724, which was set at UFC 129 at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, on April 29, 2011. That card was headlined by a Welterweight title fight between Georges St.
