Ronda Rousey could be out for as long as six months following her second-round knockout loss to Holly Holm in the UFC 193 main event.
Rousey has been suspended for 180 days pending a negative head CT scan. At a minimum, the Olympic judoka cannot fight for 60 days and isn’t allowed to have contact training for 45 days. Rousey was finished by a head kick and follow-up punches 59 seconds into round two in the UFC 193 headliner, which took place at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on Saturday night. “Rowdy” was not present at the post-fight press conference, as she was immediately transported to a hospital following her defeat.
