The opening bout of UFC 192 was an important matchup between top 10 ranked Jessica Eye and TUF 18 winner Julianna Pena. A win for Pena would put her right "in the mix" as a new potential title challenger, while Eye was looking to bounce back from a blowout loss to Miesha Tate.
These two wasted no time swinging. Pena pulled guard early but Eye didn't engage in anything serious.
