Both co-main event combatants from UFC 191 were among the fighters issued long medical suspensions by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
It appears that the heavyweights in the co-main event of UFC 191 were hitting each other pretty hard. Both Andrei Arlovski and Frank Mir were among five fighters that were issued 180-day medical suspensions in the wake of the event, and the veterans both appeared to have injured their right hands.
The other three fighters to receive long suspensions were Alex Chambers (knee), Joe Riggs (orbital), and Joaquim Silva (orbital).
