Well, that was easy.
In what was a virtual whitewash of Jimi Manuwa (fight recap here), conducted by former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight top contender Anthony Johnson at the UFC 191 pay-per-view (PPV) last night (Sat. Sept. 5, 2015), the latter cemented his place as the division's No. 2 combatant next to titleholder Daniel Cormier.
Both Johnson and Manuwa came in hoping to inch closer towards a shot at "DC." While "Rumble" previously fell to the former Olympic wrestler back at UFC 187, however, with his performance tonight, I have a feeling they will be fighting sooner rather than later.
