The streaking welterweight up-and-comer is going to face his stiffest test to date in the form of jiu-jitsu wizard Demian Maia when the two throw hands at the upcoming UFC 190 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Aug. 1, 2015.
Magny (15-3) has run over the bottom half of the 170-pound division, racking up seven straight wins and finishing four of his last five opponents. That includes a blistering technical knockout victory over Hyun Gyu Lim at UFC Fight Night 66 last month in Philippines.
