For the first time since capturing the welterweight title in December, champion Robbie Lawler (pictured) puts his strap up for grabs. Unfortunately for “Ruthless,” the pre-fight prospects of him retaining the hardware tonight against Rory MacDonald doesn’t look that great.
Macdonald is pegged as a -170 odds-on favorite to avenge his 2013 split decision defeat to Lawler and claim the throne. Lawler, meanwhile, checks in close behind as a -140 underdog.
Not like Lawler cares or anything. He’s probably the most laid back fighter in the history of MMA.
