Kelvin Gastelum returned to 185 pounds and earned a finish over Nate Marquardt on the main card at UFC 188 on Saturday in Mexico City.
Gastelum battered Marquardt with a number of strikes from various positions before earning the technical knockout at 5:00 of Round 2.
Gastelum controlled the center of the Octagon early and moved forward with strikes while Marquardt had his back against the cage. His jab remained the most effective tool in the round, using it to set up his power shots.
