Although he’s only 31-year-old and seemingly in the prime of his athletic career, newly-crowned boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is planning to hang up the gloves after just two more fights.
Fury, who TKO’d American knockout artist Deontay Wilder last month to win the WBC heavyweight title, outlined his plans for the future in a recent interview with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby of This Morning (h/t Jack de Menezes of The Independent).
‘The Gypsy King’ plans to ‘sail off into the sunet’ after beating Wilder in a trilogy bout (Wilder will be exercising his rematch clause) and then returning home to the UK to defeat British heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua in a title unification bout.
