It appears as if boxing fans are getting the heavyweight title unification they desire, and it will reportedly take place over multiple fights.
According to a report from ESPN, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua signed a two-fight deal to unify the four world titles. The dates and venues have not been announced for the highly anticipated bouts to crown an undisputed heavyweight champion.
“This is the biggest fight in boxing and one of the biggest sporting events in the world,” Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn told ESPN. “It will be a major, major win for a country that wants to showcase itself.
