No. 1 Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are scheduled to meet on Saturday, December 21st for a rematch of epic proportions. This may be the biggest heavyweight bout of the modern era.
Instead of four world titles on the line, it will be only three. As reported by the BBC, the IBF (International Boxing Federation) stripped Usyk of his title because he was unable to fulfill his duty to square off with his mandatory challenger.
Usyk won the last matchup between the two in May by a majority decision. In that fight, Fury managed to build up a lead before Usyk took the upper hand.
