'The King of the Ring' returns to the U.S. for the first time since 2013 when he takes on Julian Pollard for the inaugural heavyweight title at Big Knockout Boxing's third event on June 27, 2015.
Tyrone Spong kicked off his professional boxing career earlier this year in Germany and has gone on to win his first two fights by knockout.
Now, he will make his U.S. debut, but it won't be in a ring.
"The King of the Ring" will be fighting in the pit for the upstart Big Knockout Boxing (BKB) promotion, whose slogan is "No ring, no ropes, more knockouts," and will be matched up against Jullian Pollard for the inaugural BKB heavyweight title on June 27, 2015, inside the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
