Former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is expected to return to action in March for a showdown against Vicente Luque at UFC 260.
Multiple sources with knowledge of the matchup confirmed agreements are in place when speaking to MMA Fighting, with Luque’s side having signed a contract for the fight. ESPN initially reported the potential fight.
Once everything is finalized, Woodley will compete having dropped three straight fights dating back to 2019 when he lost the welterweight title to Kamaru Usman. Since then, Woodley lost two more bouts to Gilbert Burns and Colby Covington in lopsided fashion.
