Either way, the next American Top Team practice involving UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and 170-pound contender Colby Covington should be fire.
On Monday, Woodley took exception to UFC president Dana White’s harsh criticism of his dominant, yet highly aesthetically unappealing, victory over Demian Maia at UFC 214.
“You ask fans if they want to see Woodley fight again,” White said of his welterweight title holder. “I think that would be flat out no. Who wants to pay to see Tyron Woodley fight again? He is an absolute physical specimen. The guy could have finished that fight at any time he wanted to, but he didn’t want to take the risks.
