All of a sudden, after spending the better part of a year ignoring Colby Covington’s incessant trash talk, Tyron Woodley wants to put a beating on the newly-minted UFC welterweight champion like never before.
Covington, 30, called out Woodley after he beat Rafael dos Anjos via unanimous decision to win the interim belt this past weekend at UFC 225, calling the official champ a ‘coward’ in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
Woodley, who is expected to meet Covington in a title unification bout late in the year, plans to ‘take his life’ when the two eventually meet in the Octagon.
