Two Turkish MMA fighters injured helping victims of Vienna terrorist attack

Two Turkish MMA fighters were injured while coming to the aid of an elderly woman and an injured police officer during the terrorist attack that took place in Vienna, Austria, on November 2nd.

The two fighters, Recep Tayyip Gultekin and Mikail Ozer, were present at the city centre in Vienna when a gunman opened fire on people beside the city’s largest synagogue. Four people were killed and another 22 were wounded. A shootout with the police soon spread to six different locations in the city.

The gunman, an ISIS sympathizer, was later shot dead.
