Chael Sonnen says he was "basically clean" when tested by USADA, the UFC's anti-doping partner, last month.
Chael Sonnen recently said he is open to fighting again, but also made it clear there may be a roadblock in the way of a potential return: passing a drug test.
The former two-time UFC title challenger was placed in the USADA drug-testing pool and tested by the UFC's anti-doping partner last month. Sonnen would be eligible to return to action before the end of the year if the results come back negative.
The UFC has not confirmed Sonnen's drug test results yet, but, over social media on Thursday, the 39-year-old gave the mixed martial arts community an idea of what to expect when the organization does.
