TUF Finale 24 medical suspensions: Henry Cejudo, Jake Ellenberger potentially out six months

Former UFC title challenger Henry Cejudo and welterweight veteran Jake Ellenberger highlighted a list of four fighters to receive potential six-month medical suspensions in the aftermath of The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale, according to information released Tuesday to MMA Fighting by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Cejudo and Ellenberger both suffered defeats on the event's main card, with Cejudo losing a polarizing split decision to fellow TUF 24 coach Joseph Benavidez, and Ellenberger dropping via first-round TKO at the hands of Jorge Masvidal. Both men will now be required to seek medical clearance on potential injuries (Cejudo, left hand; Ellenberger, left foot) or remain sidelined until June 2, 2017.
