The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 1 middleweight champion Cezar Ferreira will return to his home country for another challenge. As Combate reported, “Mutante” will take on undefeated prospect Karl Roberson on May 12th at UFC 224.
Most recently, Cezar Ferreira (12-6) recovered from a unanimous decision loss to Elias Theodorou with a split decision win over veteran Nate Marquardt in November. Before the loss, Ferreira was on a three-fight winning streak, with wins over the likes of Oluwale Bamgbose, Anthony Smith, and Jack Hermansson.
Karl Roberson (6-0) will try and keep his MMA record pristine after his UFC debut against Darren Stewart, in November, which he won by submission via rear-naked choke.
