Juan Francisco Espino Dieppa could be looking at a lengthy layoff after winning the heavyweight final of “The Ultimate Fighter 28.”
The Nevada State Athletic Commission on Monday released medical suspensions from the “TUF 28” finale, which took place at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Nov. 30.
Espino, who submitted Justin Frazier in the first round of their heavyweight tilt, must have an MRI of his right knee. If the scan is positive he must receive orthopedic doctor clearance or he cannot compete until May 30.
