One of the sport’s most intriguing welterweight prospects just made a big-time statement on Thursday at Kunlun Fight MMA 12.
Muslim Salikhov, a 12-1 Russian who has a penchant for spinning strikes and holds more than 180 kickboxing victories to his name, steamrolled UFC and Bellator veteran Melvin Guillard at the event in Yantai, China, knocking Guillard out cold with a devastating spinning head kick despite the fact that Guillard missed the welterweight limit by more than 10 pounds.
Salikhov, 32, is nicknamed “The King of Kung Fu,” and it’s easy to why. Check out video of his latest knockout below.
