The sport of Mixed Martial Arts continues to grow in popularity. The fighters are becoming more recognizable to the general public and the American based promotions (WSOF, Bellator MMA, UFC) are continuing to grow larger.The biggest reason for this growth is the fighters. I have assembled a list of the Top Stars in MMA for the last quarter of 2015. They are ranked on a formula of marketability, contributions to the sport in and out of the cage, and straight up name recognition, meaning if you ask someone to name an MMA fighter these names occur more often.
It’s always hard to condense the list down to just 10 fighters every quarter especially at the end of the year so I’ve added two honorable mentions due to not having been active in the last year, but still having star power.
