Two days after her UFC Sao Paulo opponent, Ketlen Vieira, was forced out of their bantamweight clash, Tonya Evinger has been matched with Aspen Ladd, who she will face at UFC 229 on Oct. 6.
Officials confirmed the bout to FS1’s UFC Tonight on Wednesday, following an initial report from MMAJunkie.com.
Former Invicta FC bantamweight champion, Evinger (19-7-0), is by far the most experienced opponent that Ladd has ever faced.
“Triple Threat” has been competing as a professional since 2008 and boasts notable wins over Yana Kunitskaya, Cindy Dandois and Julie Kedzie, among others.
