Those that celebrated Tony Kelley’s recent defeat will rejoice with the news that his Ultimate Fighting Championship run has ended.
Automated Twitter account UFCRosterWatch posted on Thursday that Kelley (8-3) has been removed from the UFC roster. This does not necessarily mean that he was cut, as he competed four times from 2020 to 2022 – the UFC often provides fighters with four-fight contracts – but it does indicate that he has not been re-signed if his contract ended. Recent opponent Adrian Yanez posted on Twitter about the ending of Kelley’s UFC deal, stating, “There goes my rematch,” accompanied by laughing emojis.
