Tony Ferguson’s BJJ coach Eddie Bravo gives his take on the potential Conor McGregor fight.

Although newly-crowned UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is one of the most unorthodox and dynamic strikers in the division, his best asset against McGregor is probably his grappling.

That’s according to ‘El Cucuy’s’ longtime Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach Eddie Bravo, who was very honest about Ferguson’s chances against ‘The Notorious’.

Speaking to BJ Penn Radio in a recent interview, Bravo, the founder of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, is cautious of McGregor’s striking but believes Ferguson has what it takes to ‘strangle him’ on the mat.

“If you don’t have respect for Conor and his abilities, then you haven’t been paying attention,” Bravo said of a possible championship showdown between McGregor and Ferguson.
