Tony Ferguson wants Max Holloway fight after UFC 231, Dana White agrees

Max Holloway put on a masterful performance on Saturday night, dealing Brian Ortega his first career loss. Many people took notice, including some of his fellow top-ranked fighters.

Tony Ferguson, for one, made his intentions known to fight Holloway sometime in the near future.

It is an idea that UFC president Dana White is in full agreement with.

“I love that. I love that sh-t. Right on, Tony,” White told members of the media during the UFC 231 post-fight press conference.

White had already stated that he feels Holloway may be “too big” to keep fighting at featherweight, and that moving up to 155 pounds might be the more viable option.
