Mark Godbeer will be needing a new opponent for next month’s UFC event.
UFC heavyweight Todd Duffee has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 209 bout against Godbeer due to undisclosed reasons. The news was originally revealed on Thursday by Godbeer, who posted on a statement on his Facebook page, and was subsequently confirmed by MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani.
Duffee, 31, was last seen in the Octagon almost two years ago at UFC Fight Night 71, where he suffered a knockout loss to Frank Mir in the main event of the card.
