To rematch or not to rematch, that is the question for Carlos Condit and Robbie Lawler

It seems in fighting that whenever there’s a high stakes encounter that ends without a satisfactory resolution the first idea is to do it again. That happened again at UFC 195, when Carlos Condit and Robbie Lawler happily engaged in a fight game paradox — the old "technical brawl" — in which blood was spit, welts were formed, bearings were reft, and spinning elbows whizzed by the bridges of noses. This kind of prehistoric headhunter’s parity gave everyone a ticklish feeling.

We should do this again.

Condit-Lawler was a classic fight, and the first thought is always to extend classic as far as it will go…or at least until, you know, something definitive happens.
