The last time we saw TJ Grant, he was knocking out Gray Maynard in brutal fashion at UFC 160.
Before that, he was blowing up Matt Wiman's head in January of 2013:
Now, he's a miner. Very specifically a potash miner. The first "real" job he's had in a decade. This is due to a concussion he received in training while preparing to take on Benson Henderson for the UFC lightweight title. My how things have changed. The concussion Grant has received was serious enough (and thankfully not serious enough) to allow him to clearly ponder his future of the sport, and whether continued damage to his brain and body were worth it.
