The UFC’s May 8th event was supposed to feature T.J. Dillahsaw’s return from a two-year layoff. The former bantamweight champion was booked to headline the said event against number two-ranked 135-pound contender Cory Sandhagen.
Dillashaw didn’t make it to the fight as he was forced to pull out due to a cut he sustained during training. For fans like myself who were looking forward to seeing how he would fare against the streaking “Sandman,” it was disappointing to hear.
But here’s some good news. According to MMA Junkie, the UFC has re-booked this matchup to headline the July 24th event.
