A good part of the biggest storyline heading into UFC Brooklyn has been put to rest.
UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw successfully made weight Friday morning for his flyweight title challenge against 125-pound champ Henry Cejudo. Dillashaw came in at 124.6 pounds and was the first fighter to weigh-in, right at 9 a.m. local time in New York. The fight will go down Saturday night on the UFC’s debut card on the ESPN+ streaming service.
Dillashaw, 32, had not made a weight that low since he was a freshman wrestler in college, he said this week.
