Former UFC bantamweight champion was looking to be the next two-division champion by dropping down a weight class and challenging Henry Cejudo for the flyweight title in January. Instead, he was stopped in less than a minute of action, breaking a four-fight win streak.
To make things worse, he failed both of his UFC Brooklyn drug tests, resulting in a two-year suspension from USADA. Recently, he spoke with Chael Sonnen to give a brief update about what’s been going on with him, where he also admitted how the loss to Cejudo still stings to this day.
“I definitely have some animosity towards myself, towards the sport, just everything,” Dillashaw said (transcript by MMA Junkie).
