Just as the drama surrounding the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) at UFC 247 dies down, the commission is raising more eyebrows for their handling of Tito Ortiz vs. Alberto El Patron.
Ortiz improved his professional record to 21-12-1 after beating former WWE champion El Patron (9-6) via first-round rear-naked choke. The fight took place under the Combate Americas banner back in December. Fast forward to Tuesday, and the TDLR has officially ruled the bout a “no decision.”
“The results of the fight were changed pending further investigation,” TDLR public information officer Tela Mange told MMA Junkie when reached for clarification.
