Tito Ortiz signs with Combate Americas for MMA return

“The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” is back.

Almost five months to the date of his last MMA bout, former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz signed a contract with Combate Americas.

Ortiz posted a video of the deal on his social media, signing the contract during Friday night’s Combate Americas 35 in Los Angeles, Calif. Amy Kaplan was first to report the news.

“I’m ready to fight. I’m ready to kick some f*cking ass,” Ortiz said on the video, adding “I’m back!!! Let’s have some fun” in the post.

Combate Americas CEO Campbell McLaren confirmed the news on social media, writing that the company now has to find Ortiz “the right opponent.
