Chuck Liddell might not be set on retirement, but fellow UFC legend Tito Ortiz most definitely is.
‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ knocked out Liddell in the first round of their trilogy bout at Golden Boy Promotions, headed by ‘The Golden Boy’ himself, former boxing world champion Oscar De La Hoya.
Shortly after his brutal knockout win, Ortiz, who was previously KO’d out by ‘The Iceman’ at UFC 47 and UFC 66, announced that he would be hanging up the gloves to pursue his career as a fight promoter.
“I’m done,” Ortiz said at the post-fight press conference at The Forum in Inglewood, California (h/t Christopher Taylor of BJPenn.
