Tim Kennedy’s career in mixed martial arts has come to an end.
The UFC veteran and Strikeforce veteran announced on Tuesday that he has decided to retire following his third-round loss to Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 206, which took place on Dec. 10 in Toronto, Canada.
Kennedy, who leaves the sport with an 18-6 record, including victories over the likes of future UFC champions Michael Bisping and Robbie Lawler, announced his decision on his Facebook page. He left a message to his team, some of his opponents, the military community and his wife.
