Just hours before first bell, a fight has been scrapped from UFC Fight Night 110.
Thibault Gouti will not be able to compete against Dong Hyun Kim on the card in Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday due to illness, the UFC announced Saturday afternoon. With the lightweight bout off, the card will go on with 11 contests.
The UFC statement said the decision was made “on the advice of physicians, and with the athlete’s health and safety in mind.”
Gouti (11-3) is on a three-fight losing streak, last falling by first-round TKO to Chad Laprise at UFC on FOX 21 last August.
