Thiago Alves suspended three months for missing weight at UFC 205

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight No. 1 contender, Thiago Alves, missed weight for his lightweight debut against Jim Miller at the UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place earlier this month (Nov. 12, 2016) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The result was a mandatory time out.

Per source, Thiago Alves was also suspended three months for missing weight by NYSAC. If you miss weight in NY, it's automatic suspension.
