Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis hasn’t been able to put on a show in his last few fights, losing three decisions in a row. Charles Oliveira started the fight with the same game plan as Pettis’ previous opponents, pressing the takedown early. When Oliveira started to gas, Pettis nearly finished him with a series of hard body kicks and brutal ground and pound.
Pettis lost momentum in the second round when Oliveira took control in the clinch and on the ground.
